I took the early morning ferry to Buenos Aires and as I had been travelling for a year and had started to look for a job for when I finished I decided to use my air miles to fly back to London for a couple of job interviews. It was a welcome visit home and […]

Gotta Have Goals

Friday, January 29th, 2010

It’s weird when something that has been such a big part of your life is over (other than sorting out my collarbone and what to do with my bike). So I have decided to follow in Ian’s path and come up with a set of new goals for the future.

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

I am getting depressed sitting around Dakar Motos wondering what I am going to do with my bike so I decided to go into town and see the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo march as their children disappeared during the military dictatorship between 1976 and 1983. It turns out that Myles who came down and […]

Lost and Found

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

My passport turned up. Apparently it was still in the hostel in Ushuaia and had fallen under the bed – unfortunately due to my broken collarbone I hadn’t been able to look. I also finalised the shipping of my bike to Buenos Aires with the continued help of Kieshka.

No Water Necessary

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

Not having full movement of my arm I am seeing how long I can wear the same clothes to bed and during the day before I am put off by the smell. 9 days so far. Not much of a confidence booster this being in pain and incapable of doing anything.

Monday, January 4th, 2010

Due to enforced inactivity I have decided to move my website from www.argentina2alaska.co.uk which I originally was blogging to when I was going to ride Argentina up to www.alaska2argentina.co.uk which www.alaska2argentina.com will point to and I am going to let www.argentina2alaska.co.uk expire. Please switch over and let me know if you have any problems. Other […]
