Painting the Flat

Wednesday, February 28th, 2007

A few years ago I decided that I was getting too old to still be in a flatshare and the normal hassles that go with it (other people’s mess) and bought a tiny (25 square metres) flat which I then ended up letting out rather than moving into mainly for economics reasons. The new tenant […]

Tuesday, February 27th, 2007

I really dislike it when people get into a mood and don’t tell you what is wrong and instead just make you feel bad. Like it isn’t hard enough to feel good about life without having to put up with someone else bringing you down. When I worked with homeless kids in Australia we had […]

Partnership Problems

Monday, February 26th, 2007

I wrote to my partner in Turkey about the restaurant saying until I was bought out that we need to agree on how the restaurant would be run and she finally wrote back yesterday. It looks like I am going to have to try and get legal advice as it seems we can’t agree on […]

Riding in a Row

Sunday, February 25th, 2007

Only two observers showed up for our ride today (the fact that it was pissing down might have had something to do with that). As there was seven pupils we all rode in single file and weren’t allowed to over take each other which was nice as it gave me a chance to concentrate on […]

Time Optimisation

I talked to my best friend in New Zealand this morning and she is engaged to the guy that she started going out with before xmas. The only problem is that he has a really bad temper and takes it out on her which is pretty upsetting to hear. Tonight’s date was really interesting almost […]

Thursday, February 22nd, 2007

All the sites that I joined before Valentines day have come to fruition this week and tonight was the first of three blind (as in never met them) dates. We went to see the musical Evita as I really liked the movie and the soundtrack. Seeing as how the guy had been particularly congenial over […]

ELAM Membership Renewal

Wednesday, February 21st, 2007

I have added passing my advanced riding test to my revamped new year’s resolutions as it turns out that my membership to ELAM is £35 instead of £15 because I haven’t passed my test yet. So now I have an economic reason to pass the exam.

When you are tired of London you are tired of life

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007

I have been thinking quite a bit about my feelings of restlessness. And even though I do miss the travelling from my old job, seeing new places was becoming a bit passé in the end. If you want a wide range of experiences then London really should be the place to do it so I […]

Gorgeous Networks

Monday, February 19th, 2007

On Valentines Day one of the free evening tabloids had an article about a dating site called gorgeous networks where the current members vote on whether you can join and then it is two hundred and fifty pounds to join. So I signed up and was voted in but have decided not to join. But […]
