"To see a world in a grain of sand, And a heaven in a wild flower; Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, And eternity in an hour." – William Blake

A big thank you to everyone for following along on the journey with me. A special thank you to everyone that commented, emailed and sent help along the way.

    Hi, Annette
I am Paulo, a guy who was in Viedma as many others. If you do not remember, I was the only brazilian there.
On december 31 – I believe – I’d met Kev and Lorraine at Ushuaia and they told me what happened to you. They told me that you were in a hospital at rio grande, very injuried. So, each of us said that, for sure, we´d must to see you.
Few minutes later I met a truck driver that was looking at my bike, and talking about bike’s traveling, he told me about a girl that crash her bike and how he and other men took her to the hospital at Rio Grande. Surprised, I asked him about “the girl” and wich hospital she were, and he told that he saw she out from the hospital and, then, he believed she were better. Big world… small world.
My trip – 13.000km and 40 days – had been much more shorter than yours.
When I was coming back home, at those few last kilometers from Sao Paulo, all those moments of the journey to Ushuaia were running around my mind.
Several days, full of several and unique moments.
I were thinking about the moments that I spent away, the people that I’d met, all the kind of people but specially those that I suppose brave guys. Yep. I met there some good guys, those ones that see what is ahead and, despite mud, wind, rain, gravel, sun, hot, cold, distances, loneliness, hard or unknow, they face theirs fears, they face themselves, and they just go ahead. and…
Ops! Wait a moment.. I tought to myself, these things that I’d admire on those guys, and make me suppose they are brave, I did them all?!?!!!. Yes, I did it.
I faced my fears while the fears and those unusual circunstances were appearing in front of me.
All these qualities that I identify in brave people I have them all. It is not something distant. It is real, these qualities are part of me.

Your trip for sure was made of several moments, with many different people that you met trough all long the road.
Your journey from alaska to argentina didn’t finish. Not while you don’t revise all the moments, since the beggining and understand them and youself.

I’ll wait your post for this reviewing.
Hugs! and a happy new year!

    Paulo Fernando
